As a devoted husband and father, I find immense joy in connecting with people, exploring the beauty of nature, and sharing my passion for sports. All these activities are deeply rooted in my commitment to supporting others throughout their life’s journeys.Along with over 15 years of experience in debriefing and counselling, I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Pastoral Counselling and another in Practical Theology. My professional journey includes many years as a Pastor and five dedicated years to Pastoral Counselling. Additionally, I spent 10 years working with a Cape Town organisation that supported individuals operating in challenging environments. Currently, my practice encompasses both pastoral counselling and debriefing support, which I provide through Uviwe.

My approach is based on Contextual therapy, which places a high value on dialogue and restoring trustworthiness in relationships. Contextual therapy takes into account a person's broader context including family dynamics, social influences and cultural factors. It is a collaborative, integrative process between a person or group and the counsellor. As a Pastoral Counselor it is vital to be accountable. I am supervised by a Clinical Pastoral Counselor and am also registered with the Council for Pastoral and Spiritual Counsellors (CPSA).
I am available for general counselling for families, groups, couples and individuals aged 13 and older. I specialise in crises of faith, grief, anger, anxiety and family counselling.

The number of sessions depends from person to person, it can range from 2 or 3 sessions to a longer process. The length of time is dependent on and driven by the client.
As people are often working through deep-seated, long running issues, time is often needed to manage or resolve these. I walk alongside the client and offer non-judgemental support with time and space to process what they are going through.FeesIn counselling, only clients seeing psychologists recognised by Health Professional Council of South Africa (HPCSA) are permitted to claim from medical aid.
I am trained as a Pastoral Counselor, and not a psychologist, and therefore clients cannot claim from medical aid.
My fees are reflective of my qualifications. Clients are welcome to contact me regarding my fees.
